I have used one of these mounts for 6 months now holding up a 50" Pioneer Kuro plasma. I was worried about mounting a 125 lb tv on a cantalever mount system but took a chance on this one. What arrived was a super heavy duty aluminum streamlined beast. Big, heavy and appeared ultra strong. I mounted it to the wall, stretched it out full and hung from it. I'm 175 lbs and it didn't move or flex in the slightest. I mounted the TV and it has held up quite well. The plasic coverings all come off so you can run your cables thru them. I ran 4 DVI cables and a fiberoptic cable no problem. Mounting Note: There are 6 lag screws that go into studs. Get a piece of scrap wood close to the same thickness as your drywall. Cut holes in the drywall to expose the studs and screw in the strips. Then level the strips with the drywall and mount the stand. This takes the stress off the drywall and ensures a sturdy lifetime.
