The MR series speaker stands are a self assembly speaker stands. Four-pillar (2" x 2") design which provide maximum control of your speakers. Fine tuning is possible by experimenting with the speaker platform spikes and by filling the pillars with sand or lead shot for heightened stability and resonance dampening. The MR line of speaker stands are finished in matte black and supplied with floor spikes, top studs and isolation pads.

As an avid audiophile of 40 years plus, I bought these a couple of years ago from Dynamic Home Decor, and I will say they are excellent stands for the money, and look nice as well. For audio purposes, "more posts" is generally considered more important than "welded posts" if you have to make a choice between the two at your price point (which I did) - these are about as good as I've had except for some much more expensive stands that were four-posted and welded. If you're considering stands in this price range for real listening (and not just for propping up your speakers), these are hard to beat. DHD was very pleasant to deal with, incidentally, and very responsive to my customer inquiries.
